5 Activities To Do With Your Adult Children

Designate a family dinner night. Wether it’s once a week or once a month, schedule time for them to come over and sit down for a real family dinner. Talking and catching up around the dinner table will keep you in tune as a family.

Make a movie date. Nothing says meaningful family time than you buying their popcorn and soda at the movies. It will feel like they never left home when you pay the bill! HA! Let them pick the movie.

Go on a hike with your adult child.

Attend an activity they are involved in. Maybe they are in a sports league through work, or maybe they are singing karaoke at the local bar. Whatever it is, get out there and support them.

Meet their friends. If they will let you. It never hurts to know the people your adult children are hanging out with.

Go on a family hike. Fresh air, sunshine and good exercise are the perfect recipe for meaningful family time. You can even pack a lunch and eat it when you reach your destination.
